Before we can think of adding the layers to your new flat roof, we need to install the roof itself. Using our design, we create a timber framework that will bear the weight of the roof. There are several options to choose from, including MDF and solid wood. We lay the roof in segments, securely attached to the frame.

Layer
The first layer we install onto the base of your roof comprises a perforated membrane roofing felt. This is laid loose onto the prime deck of the roof and anchored by melting the bitumen coating on the reverse size. The holes in this first layer allow for some ventilation for the roof itself, preventing the build-up of condensation.
Second
Layer
The second layer of your three-layer flat roof acts as a cushion between the perforated membrane beneath and the surface-level felt above. It is bonded to the based layer using high-quality bitumen and a blowtorch. This produces a tight and effective bond whilst still allowing the membrane below to do its job of ventilating the roof.
Third
Layer

This fire-resistant polyester-based mineral sheeting is available in various colours to provide an attractive and customised finish.
